Als hoofdverpleegkundige geef je dagelijks leiding aan het eigen team van verpleegkundigen en zorgkundigen en werk je nauw samen met de andere hoofdverpleegkundigen/afdelingsverant-woordelijken, de adjunct-hoofdverpleegkundige, het team reactivering, het administratief team, de coördinator huishouding, de keuken, de technische dienst en externe partners zoals de CRA/CAA. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de directeur. Bij afwezigheid van de directeur neemt de hoofdverpleegkundige, binnen de gemaakte afspraken, een coördinerende rol op.

Plaats in de organisatie: werkt onder de leiding van en rapporteert aan de directeur WZC.

Vakspecifieke competenties

  • Diepgaande kennis van geriatrische pathologie en bejaardenzorg;
  • Grondige expertise in verpleegkundige en verzorgende handelingen;
  • Vaardigheid in administratie en rapportage binnen de zorgcontext.

Gedragscompetenties vind je terug in het bijvoegd document

  • Je bent bij voorkeur in het bezit van een bachelorsdiploma verpleegkunde met een geldig visum (beroep van verpleegkundige uitoefenen in België); een bachelorsdiploma paramedische achtergrond (kinesitherapie of ergotherapeut) kan ook;
  • Je werkte minstens 3 jaar als verpleegkundige of kine/ergo in de zorg (idealiter in ouderenzorg of geriatrie);
  • Leidinggevende werkervaring is een grote troef;
  • Je volgde de kaderopleiding (BanaBa zorgmanagement of gelijkwaardig postgraduaat in leidinggeven zoals Leiderschap in zorg) of je bent bereid om dit diploma binnen de 2 jaar na aanwerving te behalen.
