Fulfilment Manager

The Fulfilment Manager is responsible for the group-wide management and optimization of production planning, procurement planning, and production methodology.

The role safeguards on-time delivery to customers and structurally optimizes working capital (inventory and WIP), production cost efficiency, capacity utilization, and overall supply chain stability.

The Fulfilment Manager determines what is produced, when it is produced, and according to which production methodology (including sub-assemblies and make-or-buy decisions). Operational execution is the responsibility of the Site Manager(s).

Your role includes following responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor the integrated production plan
  • Prioritize based on contracts, margins, and strategy
  • Balance capacity, lead times, and cost efficiency
  • Escalate capacity conflicts

2. Working Capital Optimization

  • Reduce inventory levels without increasing delivery risk
  • Control Work in Progress (WIP)
  • Optimize production sequencing to improve cash flow
  • Reduce capital tied up in the supply chain

3. Production Cost Efficiency

  • Optimize economies of scale
  • Decide on centralization vs. decentralization
  • Drive standardization and modularization
  • Optimize make-or-buy decisions

4. Procurement Planning

  • Align procurement planning with production planning
  • Determine strategic inventory levels
  • Manage supply chain risks

5. Internal Customer Representative

  • Translate commercial agreements into operational planning
  • Realistically manage delivery timelines
  • Act as escalation point for conflicting priorities

Key Result Areas

  • High delivery reliability
  • Optimized working capital
  • Reduced production and supply chain costs
  • Transparent and realistic planning
  • Standardized production methodology

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
