Overview: This team member is responsible for ensuring the hotel property is well maintained and reflects an image of outstanding quality. This individual is self-motivated and has the ability to work independently with limited supervision.   Responsibilities: · Maintain and clean all outdoor hotel property (i.e. sidewalk, drives, parking lot). · Keep the hotel property in good condition. · Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies. · Open and close work requests. · Use moderate to heavy equipment to complete duties as assigned, i.e. leaf blower, power washer, etc. · Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications. · Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.   Qualifications: · Prior experience as a groundskeeper preferred. · Ability to assist all guests with a friendly and outgoing demeanor · Ability or prioritize and self-manage assigned work. · Excellent organization, communication and problem-solving skills. · Strong attention to detail. · Ability to manage workload in a dynamic environment. · Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate to heavy weight without assistance. · Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. · Responds quickly to sounds. Moves safely over uneven terrain. Identify and respond to dangerous situations. · Safely climb ladders while carrying moderate to heavy weight. Wear personal protective equipment when required. · Interior of hotel and in all areas of the property. · Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures. · Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions. · Exposure to various cleaning chemicals. · Power tools and general engineering tools.
