    Senior Security Supervisor   Overview: Assists the Director of Loss Prevention in executing safety standards, supervising loss prevention associates, overseeing wellness and culture of the department, and being a mentor to staff.   Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties and assignments may be made in accordance with this position.   · Ensures that all Loss Prevention personnel functions are being properly completed by the Loss Prevention Department. Responsible for disciplining Loss Prevention personnel in conjunction with the Director of Loss Prevention. ·Assists Director in the review of reports completed by Loss Prevention officers to ensure accuracy and timely submission ·Assists Director in completing general liability and Associate accident claims management. Liaises with Associate Services and/or insurance agent to make liability determination. Tracks accident and claim data.Maintains a good relationship with all departments within the hotel and ensures efficient service is available at all times. ·Conduct weekly, monthly, and yearly safety inspections and trainings, in coordination with Department heads. ·Ensures that a thorough and complete investigation and report is made on incidents, (e.g., losses, thefts, and accidents and acts of violence) incurred by guests and associates. ·Ensures that all phases of the key control program are maintained and any discrepancies noted are investigated thoroughly and reported to the Director of Loss Prevention and Associate Services ·Ensures that all Loss Prevention equipment (i.e., uniforms, walkie-talkies, cameras, etc.) is kept clean and in good working condition.   ·Maintains guest room, public areas and parking surveillance procedures ·Proactively plan, execute and provide assistance on the operation of the parking plan during large events. ·Responsible for making and posting the weekly department schedule. ·Assist Director of Loss Prevention in managing payroll and Kronos timekeeping system. ·Leads Safety Committee Program, Safety Recognition Program, and yearly Safety Refresher programs. Provides safety training to departments periodically. ·Participates in interview and selection process for Officers and Supervisors. ·Oversees training and onboarding for Officers and Supervisors. Ensures Power of One is maintained by team and guests have memorable experiences ·Attends Stand ups, Resume, Pre-conference, Orientation, and other meetings as Loss Prevention representative in Director’s absenceReviews daily key, phone, lost & found, and activity logs to ensure completeness and takes follow-up action as necessary. ·Maintains CPR/AED/1st Aid and other training required for Loss Prevention Officers. Qualifications: ·Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. ·To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. At least one year in a leadership position. · Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification and TIPS Alcohol Certification, or ability to gain them upon hire. · Must have CPR/AED/1st Aid certification from Red Cross or similar organization, or ability to gain one upon hire. · OSHA 30 Card or related experience preferred. · Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. · Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. · Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. · Ability to write and speak grammatically well and with confidence.   Physical Demands & Work Environment: · The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
