Feet Production Technician

Location: Alt Fuel Innovations, Kansas City, MO

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

Hours:7am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday

AFI is a fast-growing vehicle upfitter in Kansas City, seeking upfit techs in the public safety sector. Below is a portion of the job description.

Position Overview:

Install emergency equipment into vehicles used for public safety. This will include, but not be limited to, lights, sirens, radars, cameras, partitions, and consoles, including all wiring. Represent AFI professionally by providing unmatched quality and customer service.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Read and follow installation instructions and wiring schematics
  • Assemble/Build equipment that will be installed into the vehicle
  • Install equipment into/onto vehicle according to manufacturer specifications
  • Review work orders and follow directions accordingly
  • Willingness to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ensure finished vehicle is road safe
  • Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work area
  • Must have a valid driver's license
