Company Overview

Old Amoy Chendol is a heritage-driven F&B brand specializing in traditional local desserts. As we enter our next phase of aggressive growth, we are expanding our footprint across retail, B2B wholesale, and new industrial processing facilities. We are looking for a highly driven Business Development professional to take the reins on our upcoming commercial projects.

Role Description

Project Execution: Take full ownership of diverse business plans and commercial projects handed down by management, driving them from initial concept to successful on-the-ground completion.

Commercial Expansion: Identify and secure new business opportunities, including B2B partnerships, wholesale distribution channels (e.g., chendol, gula melaka, red bean paste), and new operating models.

Operational Integration: Assist in the commercial planning and regulatory coordination for new expansions, including central food processing facilities and industrial tenancy transfers, ensuring seamless project delivery.

Market Research & Structuring: Research commercial landscapes, evaluate required equipment or operating models, and structure competitive pricing for new business ventures.

Requirements

High Execution Level: You are an action-oriented doer. When handed a plan or a project, you know how to navigate roadblocks, mobilize resources, and independently make it happen.

Forward-Thinking ("Think Beyond"): You do not just follow instructions; you anticipate challenges, connect the dots across different business units, and propose proactive, strategic solutions.

Absolute Responsibility: You possess a profound sense of ownership and accountability over your portfolio, treating the business's goals and project timelines as your own.

Adaptability: Comfortable handling a dynamic range of projects, from optimizing F&B retail operations to managing the commercial aspects of large-scale industrial facility setups and licensing.

Experience: Prior track record in F&B business development, project management, or commercial operations in Singapore is highly advantageous.
