If so, Century–Airport Pediatrics wants to meet you. We’re a dedicated pediatric practice providing compassionate, high‑quality care to children from birth through age 18 — and we’re looking for a Mid-Level Provider who brings skill, heart, and a love for pediatric healthcare.

💛 What You’ll Do As a provider in our practice, you’ll play a vital role in creating positive experiences for our patients and families. You will:

Provide health maintenance care, including well-child and sick-child exams.   Manage routine developmental screenings   Provide diagnosis and treatments for common childhood illnesses   Teach and counsel children and their families on issues related to health and so much more!

Nurse Practitioner (NP): Bachelor of Science and master’s degree in nursing (PNP or FNP )  Physician Assistant (PA): Bachelor of Science (prior to 2020) or a master’s degree in physician assistant studies   A current NYS License and Board Certification Comfort caring for children of all ages (newborn–18 years) Strong communication and relationship-building skills EHR proficiency Reliability, organization, and calm under pressure A commitment to confidentiality and teamwork

Apply online to this posting today!  Job Summary:    The role of the pediatric primary care midlevel provider is to provide care to children from birth through 18 years of age with an in-depth knowledge and experience in pediatric primary healthcare including well childcare and prevention/management of common pediatric acute illnesses and chronic conditions.  This care is provided to support optimal health of children within the context of their family, community, and environmental setting.  Adheres to all office policies and procedures and the employee manual.    Essential Job Duties:

Provides health maintenance care, including well-child and sick-child exams.   Manages routine developmental screenings   Provides Diagnosis and treatments for common childhood illnesses   Teaches and counsels children and their families on issues related to health   Performs selected administrative duties and assists physicians as part of the clinical team   Provides accurate and prompt documentation for all patients   Maintains information of patient handouts and assists with office newsletter as appropriate   Knowledge of medical equipment and common safety hazards and precautions, OSHA, knowledge of computers and EHR systems.   Ability to maintain excellent communication skills, confidentiality, and work well with children of all ages, and their parents/legal guardians.   Contributes to the development of policies and procedures.   Ability to manage caseload as assigned by physician or practice manager.   Provides courteous and professional service to patients and their families   Participates in quality improvement initiatives   Performs other related work as required by their supervisor.

Physical Requirements:  

The overall nature of the position is sedentary, requiring little physical effort with occasional light physical exertion required. There is little, if any, exposure to environmental conditions.  The constant physical demand of the position is sitting.  The frequent physical demands of the position are standing, walking, climbing, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, and eye/hand/foot coordination.  The occasional physical demands of the position are lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling.
