Our Victory Learning Center Programs offers specialized educational services for students who are diagnosed with Autism or a Cognitive Disability paired with a mental health diagnosis. There are three separate sites conveniently located in Lackawanna, NY, with a fourth site opening! Our schools service students ages 5-21, who are residentially placed or are referred through their local school district's Committee on Special Education. Job Summary: The Social Worker- ITP is responsible for providing high quality support and services for the children we serve and their families. They utilize effective communication and interaction skills with students, children, families, team members, and outside professionals to promote success and help those we serve achieve the highest possible quality of life. This position will have shared responsibility for daytime, evening, and weekend hours Essential Job Duties:
Provide individual counseling and crisis counseling as appropriate Provide family sessions and family contact as necessary Complete required paperwork (all client contacts, progress notes, treatment plans and reviews) Assist with discharge planning and coordination of care on behalf of families Attend all treatment team meetings Case management and coordination with other service providers and families Crisis Management Perform crisis on call phone duties on a rotating basis including documentation Provide support and explanation to RTF staff regarding clients Reading and sending emails internally to keep staff informed Attend meetings (multidisciplinary meetings, red flag meetings, school and supervision etc.) Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Education Required:
Master`s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
Experience Required:
At least 1 year of experience working with children with developmental disabilities and their families in a Social Work or Mental Health setting. This may include an internship.
License/Certification Requirements:
Valid NYS Driver’s License Must have one of the following NYS Licensure: LMSW/LCSW/LMHC/LMHC-P or; NYS Professional Licensure eligible and obtain licensure within 6 months from date of hire
Training: • Continuing education as per NYS Office of Profession guidelines • All required agency trainings (including Applied Behavior Analysis, SCIP-R) • All trainings required by programs in which you service individuals Physical Requirements:
The constant physical demand of the position is sitting. The frequent physical demands of the position are standing, walking, climbing, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, and eye/hand/foot coordination. The occasional physical demands of the position are lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling
