About the role

As a Telemarketing Intern, you’ll support our sales team by reaching out to prospective clients, introducing our services, and gathering valuable insights from customers. Working closely with the team on targeted campaigns, you’ll build practical experience in sales, customer engagement and CRM tools, with full guidance along the way.

  • Perform outbound calls to prospects and customers in line with current live campaigns.
  • Conduct follow-up calls with customers as needed.
  • Identify potential business opportunities and qualify leads based on customers' needs, interest, and eligibility.
  • Direct prospects to the appropriate sales team, facilitating a smooth handover.
  • Provide clear information about OLX Lebanon’s services and products to customers.
  • Gather customer feedback, identify recurring objections, and communicate relevant insights to the team.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in English or Arabic, using pre-set scripts.
  • Record call outcomes and customer information accurately in the CRM.
  • Consistently achieve daily and weekly call targets.
  • Support administrative tasks and coordinate with internal departments as needed.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • No prior experience required; an interest in sales or customer service is a plus.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
  • Comfortable using computers, with good typing skills.
  • Ability to engage with customers over the phone and handle objections positively.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized.
  • Patient, customer-oriented, and able to handle pressure calmly.
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with a CRM or ticketing system is a plus.
  • Customer-oriented, with a genuine interest in helping people.
  • Patient and positive when dealing with customers.
  • Able to stay calm under pressure and handle rejection on calls constructively.
