The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, GLP-1 & Cardiometabolic Product Marketing based in the United States.

The Director of GLP-1 & Cardiometabolic Product Marketing will shape the positioning and commercial strategy for innovative healthcare programs addressing obesity and related chronic conditions. This hands-on leadership role combines strategic direction with direct execution, helping translate clinical evidence, product capabilities, and market insights into compelling value propositions. You will partner closely with commercial, product, clinical, and strategy leaders to clarify offerings and strengthen go-to-market performance. By working directly with sales and channel teams, you will build a continuous feedback loop that improves messaging, competitive positioning, and sales effectiveness. You will also guide launch readiness for new programs while developing a product marketing team member. This is an opportunity to influence how employers, health plans, and benefits partners evaluate and adopt solutions in a rapidly evolving healthcare market.

Accountabilities:

  • Establish annual product marketing priorities by identifying target buyers, their needs, the problems the programs solve, and the reasons to choose the offerings over competing solutions.
  • Lead market sensing and competitive intelligence through regular win/loss reviews and close collaboration with Sales, Consultant Relations, channel teams, Product Marketing, and Strategy.
  • Translate field feedback into actionable recommendations that inform messaging, product development, commercial strategy, and sales execution.
  • Develop differentiated positioning and value propositions for distinct buyer segments, including employers covering GLP-1 medications and those that do not, as well as buyers prioritizing cost management versus population health.
  • Maintain a consistent overall portfolio narrative while adapting messaging to the needs of employers, health plans, consultants, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), and other audiences.
  • Partner with Clinical and Thought Leadership teams to translate evidence into credible proof points, identify evidence gaps, and address the information buyers need to make purchasing decisions.
  • Clarify product offerings by communicating what is included, who qualifies, how access works, who pays, and what value is supported by evidence.
  • Collaborate with Product, Finance, Strategy, and commercial stakeholders on packaging, pricing recommendations, business-case tools, comparison materials, and guarantee messaging.
  • Ensure clinical and economic claims are accurate and transparent, distinguishing observed outcomes from modeled savings and clearly explaining assumptions and limitations.
  • Personally create and refine sales presentations, pitch decks, discovery guides, competitive responses, proof points, and business-case materials that help commercial teams win opportunities.
  • Partner with sales leaders on strategic deals, tailoring value propositions to buyer priorities and addressing clinical, operational, and financial objections.
  • Equip consultants, PBMs, and other channel partners with tailored messaging, relevant use cases, and practical sales materials aligned with their commercial processes.
  • Work with Customer Effectiveness to deliver practical training and test messaging and tools in real buyer conversations, using results to improve future iterations.
  • Lead go-to-market readiness for new GLP-1 and cardiometabolic offerings, aligning product packaging, messaging, evidence, training, channel materials, and member communications.
  • Oversee launch planning and post-launch optimization, incorporating early sales feedback and member experiences to refine commercial execution.
  • Keep positioning and marketing resources current as product capabilities, clinical evidence, and market conditions evolve.
  • Manage and develop one product marketer by setting priorities, providing regular feedback, and supporting professional growth while retaining direct ownership of key strategic initiatives and deliverables.
  • At least 10 years of experience in B2B marketing, including at least five years in healthcare and life sciences.
  • Experience in virtual care, digital health, health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, or pharmaceuticals is preferred.
  • A proven track record of developing product marketing strategies that help sales teams compete and succeed in complex, multi-stakeholder buying environments.
  • Understanding of how employers, health plans, PBMs, and benefits consultants evaluate clinical outcomes, economic value, and healthcare solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in buyer research, competitive intelligence, product positioning, messaging, go-to-market planning, product launches, and sales enablement.
  • Ability to define strategic direction while personally producing high-quality deliverables, including presentations, business-case narratives, competitive responses, and launch messaging.
  • Experience delivering impactful work on lean teams and moving from market insight to field-ready materials quickly.
  • Strong partnership skills and experience translating deal-level feedback from sales and customer-facing teams into actionable insights and repeatable selling approaches.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex clinical, product, and economic information clearly and credibly to different audiences.
  • Proven ability to influence decisions, facilitate productive feedback, and align commercial, product, clinical, and marketing stakeholders without relying on formal authority.
  • Experience directly managing and developing marketing talent, with the ability to balance coaching responsibilities with substantial individual contribution.
  • Experience defining key performance indicators and using qualitative and quantitative feedback to assess buyer understanding, field readiness, competitive conversion, and program adoption.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Current residence in the United States. Candidates residing outside the 50 U.S. states are not eligible for employment due to requirements governing access to personal health information.
  • Zone 1 base salary: $194,120–$242,650 per year.
  • Zone 2 base salary: $185,680–$232,100 per year.
  • Zone 3 base salary: $168,800–$211,000 per year.
  • Generous annual cash bonus.
  • Equity grants.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
  • Remote-first work culture.
  • Flexible time off to rest, recharge, and spend time with loved ones.
  • Generous parental leave.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance, with above-market employer contributions.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan.
  • Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA).
  • Mental health support solutions.
  • Additional employee benefits and wellness resources.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
