Position: PBX OperatorDepartment: PBXPurpose: To direct and assist guests and associates with communication needs in accordance with Omni Standards. Reports To: FOM/AFOM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Answer console. Direct phone calls to appropriate personnel. Assist all guests and associates. Omni Prompt Response Help Line. Process incoming guest faxes and notify Guest Services. Handle wake-up calls. Monitor Fire Panel and Life Safety Devices. Report any 911 calls to Loss Prevention, Manager on Duty, and Front Office Manager. Report any trouble with the Fire Panel to Loss Prevention, Engineering, Manager on Duty, and Front Office Manager. Perform all other duties as requested by management. TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT Telephone and keyboard Pen/pencil Calculator Base radio Computer and printer File folders and filing cabinet Facsimile machine WORKING ENVIRONMENT Interior of hotel, in normal office conditions.
