Job Description

We are looking for a caring, responsible, and enthusiastic Junior Veterinary Technician to join our veterinary team in Singapore. The successful candidate will assist veterinarians in providing quality care to animals, supporting daily clinic operations, and ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our patients.

This role is suitable for individuals who are passionate about animal welfare, eager to learn, and interested in building a career in veterinary healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians during consultations, examinations, and medical procedures.
  • Handle, restrain, and care for animals safely and compassionately.
  • Monitor animal health and report any changes in condition to the veterinarian.
  • Prepare examination rooms, medical equipment, and supplies.
  • Assist with administering medications and treatments under veterinary supervision.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation within the clinic.
  • Support animal admission, discharge, and basic patient record management.
  • Provide friendly and professional assistance to pet owners.
  • Perform other duties related to daily clinic operations as required.

Requirements

  • Passion for animals and a genuine interest in animal healthcare.
  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or animal care setting is an advantage.
  • Relevant veterinary, animal science, or animal care qualifications are preferred but not mandatory for candidates willing to learn.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Responsible, observant, patient, and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work in a team and follow instructions from veterinarians.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
