The posting

Procurement sustainability process design & integration

  • Continuously review how sustainability requirements are reflected in procurement processes (e.g., supplier qualification, sourcing, contracting, supplier management) and identify areas for improvement.
  • Derive procurement-specific sustainability topics from Omya's overarching corporate sustainability strategy, targets and regulatory commitments (e.g., CO₂ reduction, responsible sourcing, human rights, circularity).
  • Propose and operationalize measures to embed sustainability criteria, clauses and decision gates into procurement methodologies, in close alignment with the OS&S delivery teams and the global procurement function.
  • Support process standardization and alignment of sustainability practices across the end-2-end service scope, spanning Omya's headquarter and business units.

Focal point for procurement sustainability

  • Act as the central point of contact for sustainability topics within the global procurement function, bridging corporate sustainability, category management, supplier management and OS&S process management.
  • Translate external requirements (e.g., CSRD, CSDDD, CBAM, ESG ratings, customer requests) into clear procurement process implications and guidance.
  • Drive awareness, training and adoption of sustainable procurement practices across procurement teams and relevant stakeholders.
  • Represent procurement in cross-functional sustainability initiatives and ensure procurement's contribution to corporate sustainability KPIs is transparent and measurable.

Procurement analytics – design and requirements

  • Partner with procurement staff (category managers, buyers, S2C/P2P process experts, supplier management) to identify analytics needs and define the design, scope and format of required analytics and reports (e.g., spend analytics, supplier performance, sustainability KPIs, savings tracking).
  • Translate business questions into clear analytics requirements, mock-ups and report specifications that can be handed over to the OS&S Engage analytics team for technical implementation and number crunching.
  • Ensure analytics outputs are fit-for-purpose, decision-oriented and aligned with procurement governance, KPI frameworks and sustainability reporting needs.
  • Coordinate prioritization of analytics demand from the procurement function and act as the interface to the OS&S Engage analytics team throughout design, validation and roll-out.

Operational execution

  • Oversee their field of responsibilities within the OS&S Process Management team and accomplish tasks in a quality and timely manner in order to maintain and develop the standard process model for procurement sustainability and analytics.
  • Support Group-wide projects / initiatives (e.g., ESG reporting, supplier sustainability assessments, analytics platform roll-outs) and adhere to milestones in a quality and timely manner.
  • Operationalize measures to improve sustainability integration and analytics design within procurement processes and introduce measures into the OS&S delivery teams.
  • Operationalize efficient handover points between procurement, sustainability reporting and the OS&S Engage analytics team.
  • Handle process-related issues on sustainability and analytics topics and resolve process-related exceptions promptly.
  • Specify and document business requirements for sustainability data, ESG-related supplier information and analytics reports, and if required functional test scripts.
  • Develop training materials as required for the process and maintain playbooks and training materials.
  • Process scope for this role includes, among others, sustainable supplier qualification, ESG criteria in sourcing and contracting, supplier sustainability assessments, sustainability KPI reporting and procurement analytics demand management.
  • Ensure procurement process consistency by clarifying data flows, system interfaces and control points across procurement subprocesses and coordinating with upstream and downstream teams to resolve gaps or inefficiencies.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
