JOB DESCRIPTION

A listed MNC in commodities trading industry is currently looking for an Accountant to join their team to handle accounting operations for their entities.

Reporting to the manager, the Accountant will be responsible for full sets of accounts, bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, month end closing, preparing GST returns, maintaining accounting records, and liaise with auditors and tax agent.

Successful candidates can expect to work in a stable, established organization with a cohesive team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Diploma in accounting
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Chinese language, as role will require the incumbent to handle documents in Chinese language and have regular liaison with counterparts in China region
  • Previous experience with Yonyou is good to have
  • Experience with commodities trading or shipping industry
