As a senior member of the Quality team, you will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Technical Support, and fellow Quality professionals to define testing strategies, identify quality risks, validate complex customer workflows, and continuously improve product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate combines deep testing expertise, strong product and systems knowledge, leadership capabilities, and growing technical skills in areas such as automation, API testing, database validation, and troubleshooting. This role is expected to lead quality efforts across large initiatives while helping advance the team's technical capabilities and quality practices.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead quality efforts for complex features, releases, and cross-functional initiatives across cloud, web, firmware, hardware, AI analytics, and integrated platform solutions.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Technical Support, and stakeholders to identify quality risks, define validation strategies, and ensure customer requirements are effectively validated.
  • Review requirements, user stories, architecture changes, and acceptance criteria to develop comprehensive test strategies and risk-based testing approaches.
  • Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, exploratory tests, regression suites, integration tests, and end-to-end customer workflow validations.
  • Validate product functionality, usability, reliability, system integrations, APIs, and customer-facing workflows across software and hardware-connected solutions.
  • Drive testing efforts across multiple workstreams and coordinate validation activities to ensure release readiness and product quality objectives are achieved.
  • Investigate, document, reproduce, and verify software defects through resolution, including complex customer-reported issues requiring technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Perform technical validation activities including API testing, database validation, log analysis, configuration validation, and system-level troubleshooting.
  • Execute, maintain, and enhance automated test suites while collaborating with Software Engineers in Test (SETs) to improve automation coverage and testing effectiveness.
  • Analyze automated test results, identify product risks, investigate failures, and help drive corrective actions that improve release confidence.
  • Utilize automation tools, AI-assisted testing solutions, and modern quality engineering practices to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and defect detection.
  • Mentor Software QA Specialists and provide guidance on testing methodologies, product knowledge, technical validation, and quality best practices.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, release readiness activities, and quality sign-off processes while serving as a quality advocate throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, customer outcomes, testing effectiveness, and overall engineering excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen team capabilities, quality processes, automation adoption, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 8+ years of software quality assurance, software testing, or related experience in Agile development environments.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test strategy development, risk-based testing, defect management, and root cause investigation.
  • Experience leading testing efforts for complex software, cloud, firmware, hardware, or integrated platform solutions.
  • Advanced experience driving test strategy and executing test plans, test cases, performing different types of testing (eg: exploratory testing, regression testing, integration testing, etc) and end-to-end validation strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess quality risks, prioritize testing efforts, and drive quality initiatives across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar technologies.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques.
  • Experience analyzing application logs and troubleshooting complex software and system-level issues.
  • Experience executing, maintaining, and expanding automated test suites with a strong understanding of automated testing concepts and quality engineering practices.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools and modern approaches to quality engineering.
  • Experience using Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar agile, quality and defect management platforms.
  • Familiarity with web applications, cloud platforms, client/server architectures, networking fundamentals, and hardware-integrated systems.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and mobile operating systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, leadership, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to influence quality outcomes across teams and effectively balance customer experience, product quality, and delivery objectives.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
