The posting

The Grand of Dublin is currently seeking a Fulltime Activity Assistant to join our team. Optalis Healthcare offers great benefits, Health, Dental, Vision, life insurance and a generous PTO plan. We also have same day pay available.

  • Directs activities functions to ensure activities for ambulatory, non-ambulatory and bed-bound residents.
  • Records activity programs and participation of individual residents and identifying progress toward established care plan goals.
  • Follows written activities policies and procedures.
  • Distribute monthly calendar of events and/or monthly newsletter.
  • Assist with community trips/outings.
  • Prepare room, equipment and supplies prior to each activity and clean up after the activity is completed.
  • Encourage residents and families to participate in activities.
  • Transport residents to and from activities as needed.
  • Be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
