Consumables Consultant

Location: Paarl

Role Purpose:

  • The Consumables Consultant is responsible for driving consumable sales by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • The role requires a results-driven individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced sales environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for consumables.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and telesales follow-ups.
  • Identify and prospect for new clients via telesales and other lead generation methods.
  • Understand client needs and recommend suitable consumable solutions.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and update the CRM system with all interactions.
  • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide after-sales support and manage client queries professionally.
  • Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for business growth.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or higher qualification.
  • Previous experience in consumables or office supplies sales will be advantageous.
  • Strong telesales and cold-calling skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
