Job Description

As a Director in Oracle Health Core Platforms Operations, you will lead the Citrix Platform organization and the stability, modernization, and operational-health agenda for a critical customer-facing platform. You will set strategy and execution priorities across Gen1 stability, incident and CAPA follow-through, technology currency, security, capacity, Millennium health, critical projects, and Move to OCI Operations/Support handoff standardization. You will influence senior leaders and technical teams across organizational boundaries to deliver measurable improvements in customer reliability and execution discipline.

You will lead managers, senior technical leaders, and engineers responsible for operating and improving the Citrix platform supporting US and global customers. You will establish clear portfolio ownership, align teams on shared outcomes, and ensure dependencies, risks, and decisions are actively managed through closure.

This role requires a leader who can translate complex operational and technical signals into an integrated plan, remove barriers, make timely tradeoffs, and communicate progress and risk credibly to Senior Directors, VPs, and peer organizations. You will build an environment of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement while maintaining a strong focus on customer impact.

The Director will be central to sustaining platform stability while advancing modernization. The role will drive cross-functional improvement across incident and T3 reduction, resiliency and CAPA actions, observability, Windows technology currency, OLVM burndown, security and credential initiatives, capacity reviews, and service-health programs.

Org:

Leads a platform group; develops strategies and plans that standardize runtimes, APIs, and SDKs across several teams. Accountable for group results and governance adherence; makes operational decisions ensuring compatibility, security, and performance. Sponsors cross-group innovation in resilience, capacity modeling, and interoperability. Communicates with executive leadership on platform health, risk, and adoption.

Responsibilities

• Own the Citrix Platform operating strategy, roadmap, and delivery plan, balancing immediate customer-impacting priorities with durable reliability and modernization outcomes.

• Lead and develop an organization of managers and technical professionals; establish clear accountabilities, performance expectations, succession depth, and an inclusive, high-performing culture.

• Drive Gen1 stability and wellness improvements through disciplined incident, T3, problem-management, CAPA, and resiliency practices; ensure actions have accountable owners, evidence of closure, and measurable outcomes.

• Coordinate cross-organization priorities for observability, telemetry, service health, capacity planning, Windows technology currency, OLVM reduction, security remediation, and credential lifecycle work.

• Provide senior operational leadership during significant customer-impacting incidents and escalations, ensuring timely decision-making, transparent communication, and rigorous follow-through.

• Partner with engineering, security, infrastructure, OCI, Millennium, and support organizations to remove dependencies and standardize the Move to OCI Operations/Support handoff model.

• Define and review operational health metrics, trends, risks, and commitments; use data to prioritize investments and communicate progress to executive stakeholders.

• Sponsor critical projects that improve platform reliability, scalability, operational efficiency, and the customer experience across global production environments.

• Manage resource allocation and sequencing across operational commitments and strategic initiatives, escalating tradeoffs early when customer or delivery risk requires leadership action.

Team Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline; or equivalent relevant experience.

• 10+ years of progressive experience in technology operations, infrastructure, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or enterprise application delivery.

• 7+ years of experience leading managers and technical teams in complex, customer-facing production environments.

• Demonstrated success improving reliability, incident response, problem management, CAPA execution, and operational health for large-scale services.

• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure and platform operations, including virtualization, Windows technologies, networking, identity or credential management, observability, capacity, and security controls.

• Proven ability to lead across organizational boundaries, influence senior stakeholders, make sound risk-based decisions, and communicate clearly during high-pressure situations.

• Strong analytical, program-management, and people-leadership skills, with a track record of translating strategy into measurable execution outcomes.

• Experience supporting healthcare, regulated, or mission-critical customer environments is preferred.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
