Job Description
Senior TPM opportunity to drive delivery and execution of the next generation deployment and change management platform. You will be leading high-visibility developer enablement programs, driving migration and adoption from legacy services to purpose built solutions ushering in the new era of agentic engineering delivery.
OCI is transforming the deployment and change automation platform used by engineering teams across the organization. This work will reshape how services are planned, validated, released, and operated across a dynamic worldwide cloud footprint. The platform is central to developer productivity, operational confidence, and OCI’s ability to evolve quickly while preserving the reliability, security, and compliance expected of critical cloud infrastructure.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will independently lead high-visibility, cross-organizational initiatives that turn this transformation into customer-centered outcomes. You will bring structure to complex technical dependencies, build alignment from engineers through executives, and keep the organization focused on measurable results. This role calls for sound judgment, flexibility, and clear executive communication in an environment where priorities and constraints evolve quickly.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering operations, product operations, or a related discipline leading complex technology initiatives.
- Proven success driving cross-functional programs involving cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, distributed systems, CI CD, infrastructure automation, or enterprise-scale operations.
- Strong independent judgment and execution skills, including the ability to create clarity and make progress in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- A customer-oriented mindset with experience connecting platform investments to developer, operator, or internal customer outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence across organizational boundaries, resolve competing priorities, and build durable working relationships with senior engineering and business leaders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level status updates, decision documents, and risk communications.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus.
- Deployment orchestration, release engineering, continuous delivery, GitOps, infrastructure as code, or workflow automation.
- Cloud control planes, multi-tenant platform services, site reliability engineering, or global infrastructure operations.
- Security, compliance automation, policy controls, auditability, or change-management practices for critical systems.
- AI-assisted or agentic engineering workflows designed with practical safeguards and human oversight.
- OCI services or comparable large-scale public cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate delivery plans for CI/CD workflow orchestration and deployment-system initiatives, from early planning through rollout and operational handoff.
- Partner with engineers, product managers, SREs, security, and compliance stakeholders to define milestones, dependencies, readiness criteria, and success measures.
- Track execution across teams, identify delivery risks early, and drive practical follow-through on decisions, actions, and escalations.
- Support programs that reduce manual developer work through reliable workflow automation, self-service capabilities, and consistent deployment practices.
- Help operationalize safeguards for AI- and agent-assisted engineering, including appropriate approvals, auditability, policy controls, and compliance checkpoints.
- Coordinate rollout and change-management activities across a geographically distributed OCI environment, incorporating reliability, rollback, and operational-readiness needs.
- Use delivery and operational signals to improve team predictability, developer experience, deployment success rates, and continuous-improvement practices
