Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all functions and day-to-day activities of the Production department.
  • Manage daily production line balancing and optimization in collaboration with the Planner.
  • Drive achievement of key production KPIs, including OEE, scrap, performance, availability and productivity.
  • Responsible for effective inventory management and control to ensure optimal stock levels
  • Monitor and analyse production indicators using SAP, Power BI and MES, interpret performance trends, and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with the Maintenance department to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Work closely with the Quality department to address and resolve production-related quality issues.
  • Promote and enforce a safe working environment in collaboration with the HSE Manager.
  • Play a senior role in driving Lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement initiatives and productivity improvements.
  • Lead and manage Production and Assembly teams, including manpower scheduling, timekeeping, training, performance management and discipline.

Requirements:

Education and Experience

Necessary qualification:

· BEng (Industrial or Mechanical) or equivalent

· BCom Operations & Supply Chain or equivalent

Necessary experience:

· 3+ years in a manufacturing environment

Our Offer:

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08h00-17h00, and Friday 08h00-16h00.

Permanent employment, subject to probation period of three (3) months
