The maritime industry has historically been under-digitized, in part because reliable ship connectivity only became widely available since 2023. With satellite connectivity and AI, that is changing fast.

Orca AI is reshaping maritime operations through AI and computer vision, building the technology platform for the future of autonomous shipping. Being also powered by proprietary hardware, the company has a strong moat against other AI-native companies.

We have raised $111M, already have multiple $1M+ customers, and work with the top world shipping companies including MSC, Angelicoussis Group, TMS Group, Seaspan, EPS, and NYK. Now 1600 vessels rely on Orca AI for safety and efficiency of Operations.

Asia is a strategic market for Orca AI. More than half of global shipping tonnage is connected to the region, and we are investing now to build a leading commercial organization across APAC.

The Role

We are looking for a Regional Sales Director, APAC, based in Singapore.

This is a player-coach role, builder role, with broad ownership. You will build the region, own the APAC GTM motion, hire and coach the team, and personally lead key strategic deals.

You will operate with a GM-founder mindset, coordinating the people and resources required to grow the region.

What you will own

  • Own APAC revenue growth across new and existing customers
  • Personally lead strategic deals, and build long-term relationships C-Levels in industry
  • Work internationally across Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, and Greater China
  • Build and execute the regional GTM strategy
  • Hire, coach and develop a high-performing sales team across Asia
  • Drive pipeline generation, forecasting, deal reviews and QBRs
  • Coordinate Sales, SEs, Customer Success, Partnerships and other regional resources

Who we are looking for

Enterprise sales track record

You are comfortable with large, complex deals, C-level conversations and multinational organizations.

  • 10+ years in B2B Enterprise Sales
  • Proven track record closing complex $500k–$1M+ deals
  • Strong experience selling to C-level executives
  • Ideally sold to Safety and/or Operations Team (e.g. Logistics, Manufacturing)
  • Comfortable navigating complex, multi-stakeholder organizations
  • Must have experience selling in multiple countries in APAC
  • Ideally 2–3+ years leading Enterprise AEs
  • We will also consider exceptional senior ICs ready to step into leadership
