Job Summary:

Division of Research and Innovation is seeking a FAST Workforce Program Manager. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position.

The FAST Workforce Program Manager serves as the operational leader for FAST's workforce development portfolio and is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and monitoring workforce initiatives that support the Engine's strategic goals. Working under the direction of the Directors of Workforce Development, the WPM translates strategic priorities into actionable programs, manages project implementation, oversees reporting and compliance requirements, coordinates budgets and partner activities, and supports workforce-related performance metrics and deliverables.

The WPM serves as the primary liaison between workforce leadership and implementation teams, collaborating closely with project leads, partner organizations, the Workforce Partnership and Outreach Coordinator, and the Oregon STEM FAST Project Coordinator to ensure successful execution of workforce development initiatives. The position plays a critical role in fostering collaboration among industry, education, government, and community partners to expand pathways into semiconductor and related advanced technology careers.

Initially, the WPM will report to the FAST Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as the Directors of Workforce Development are affiliated with partner organizations. If the Director(s) of Workforce Development become employed directly by Oregon State University, the reporting relationship will transition accordingly.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
