  • Establish and monitor KPIs, quality control frameworks, and reporting mechanisms to drive performance and audit readiness
  • Delegate effectively and empower direct reports to deliver results, providing clear direction, accountability, and support
  • Oversee portfolio risk management, including prioritization of high-risk items, non-compliance resolution, and escalation management
  • Lead and coordinate lender and investor audits, including preparation, response, and remediation activities
  • Manage insurance compliance processes for specialized portfolios, including investor-specific requirements (e.g., Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, FHA/HUD)
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, maintaining a strong understanding of insurance coverage requirements, servicing standards, and evolving market conditions
  • Drive development and enhancement of policies, procedures, and operating models to support scalability and efficiency
  • Lead implementation of process improvements, technology enhancements, and automation initiatives in partnership with IT and product teams
  • Conduct training programs for new hires and ongoing development for team members to ensure consistency and knowledge depth
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management to direct reports, supporting career development and leadership readiness
  • Maintain ongoing communication with team members through regular touchpoints to ensure alignment, engagement, and issue resolution
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (e.g., servicing, asset management, risk, and legal) to address complex issues and align on priorities
  • Translate operational challenges into strategic solutions that reduce risk exposure and improve workflow efficiency
  • Contribute to departmental and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, representing insurance compliance in leadership forums as needed
  • Develop and support testing plans for system enhancements, including requirements definition, defect tracking, and user acceptance testing
  • Execute lender-placed insurance and remediation strategies to ensure gaps in coverage are addressed and the lender’s interest remains protected
  • Manage pre-securitized or investor-specific loan requirements, including reporting and delivery of required summaries (e.g., ICT updates)
  • Perform additional duties and lead special projects, as assigned
  • Travel Requirements - Up to 10%

Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Deep understanding of commercial loan servicing insurance requirements and investor guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA/HUD, etc.)
  • Proven ability to independently assess and mitigate portfolio risk, ensuring compliance with servicing standards and regulatory expectations
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and developing talent, including coaching and performance management
  • Strong understanding of insurance market conditions and the ability to assess impact on portfolio risk and compliance strategy
  • Experience leading audits, regulatory reviews, and remediation efforts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with servicing systems and insurance tracking platforms
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and translate complex concepts into clear guidance
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive process improvement, operational efficiency, and scalable solutions
  • High degree of emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and leadership presence

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
