‘Nieuwe Kansen Geven (NKG)’ is een samenwerkingsverband van 16 Limburgse BuSO-scholen met als doel het leerrecht van de leerlingen te versterken aan de hand van leerplekleren. NKG gaat op vraag van de samenwerkende BuSO-scholen en hun CLB op zoek naar leerplekken voor leerlingen (wiens leerrecht bedreigd is) waarvoor een alternatief leertraject zinvol is.

Als projectmedewerker van NKG

  • ga je, vertrekkende vanuit een rondetafelgesprek (i.s.m. jongere, ouders, school, CLB, andere), op zoek naar een gepast traject en een geschikte leerplek voor de leerling
  • volg je, tijdens het leerplekleren, het traject op en koppel je het verloop ervan terug naar de partners van de rondetafel
  • begeleid je leerlingen op een vaste leerplek door samen met hen taken te doen in een groene omgeving en hen (groeps)activiteiten/vorming aan te bieden waardoor ze aan hun competenties kunnen werken
  • bouw je een goede samenwerkingsrelatie uit met leerlingen, ouders, leefgroepen, scholen, CLB’s, leerplekken, schoolexterne initiatieven en andere betrokkenen
  • sta je nooit alleen: je bent deel van een enthousiast team

  • Je bent positief ingesteld en stelt een kansgerichte visie voorop, waarbij je focust op het gedrag en niet op de persoon
  • Je kan je inleven in de leef- en denkwereld van de leerlingen en past jouw aanpak daarop aan
  • Je kan de capaciteiten en de mogelijkheden van de leerlingen op een realistische wijze inschatten, hierbij rekening houdend met de thuissituatie
  • Je bent sterk in het consequent opvolgen en toepassen van afspraken
  • Je stelt jouw werkplanning op een doordachte manier op
  • Je bent flexibel en kan problemen op een creatieve manier oplossen
  • Ook al gaat het even moeilijk of is de druk groot, je kan goed blijven werken

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • Je beschikt over een bachelordiploma
  • Je beschikt over een lerarendiploma of bent bereid dit te halen
  • Je bent in het bezit van een rijbewijs B en eigen wagen en bent bereid je te verplaatsen binnen regio Limburg
  • Ervaring in de begeleiding van jongeren met leerproblematieken, ASS en/of GES is een pluspunt
