What You'll Do

As a Surgical Technologist, you'll be a critical member of our surgical team, helping deliver exceptional patient outcomes through precision, preparation, and collaboration. At the center of every procedure, you'll take ownership of the sterile field, ensuring surgeons and clinical staff have the instruments, equipment, and support they need to provide outstanding care. This is more than a technical role. It's an opportunity to work alongside highly skilled surgeons and healthcare professionals in a state-of-the-art surgical environment where your expertise, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate needs directly contribute to patient safety, surgical excellence, and operational success.

Prepare for Surgical Success

  • Assemble, inspect, and organize surgical instruments, equipment, implants, and supplies before each procedure.
  • Verify operating room readiness, ensuring all required materials are available, functioning properly, and set up according to procedure-specific needs.
  • Perform surgical counts and support patient preparation activities to promote safety and efficiency.

Own and Maintain the Sterile Field

  • Establish and maintain a sterile environment throughout each procedure.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of aseptic technique, infection prevention, and patient safety standards.
  • Continuously monitor the sterile field and take proactive action to preserve surgical integrity.

Support Surgeons During Procedures

  • Serve as the scrub technician during surgical and invasive procedures.
  • Anticipate surgeon needs by preparing, passing, and managing instruments, supplies, and equipment throughout the case.
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to changing procedural needs while maintaining focus on patient safety and workflow.

Drive Operating Room Efficiency

  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and other perioperative team members to ensure a smooth surgical experience.
  • Assist with patient positioning, sterile draping, and procedural setup.
  • Support efficient room turnover between cases to maximize surgical throughput and readiness.

Ensure Instrument Quality and Readiness

  • Handle, transport, and prepare instruments for decontamination and sterilization following established protocols.
  • Inspect instruments and equipment to ensure functionality and identify any repair or replacement needs.
  • Help maintain inventory levels and procedural supplies to support daily operations.

Champion Quality and Patient Safety

  • Adhere to all patient safety protocols, including surgical site verification and procedural time-outs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, team meetings, competency validation, and continuing education activities.
  • Uphold regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards while contributing to a culture of excellence.

What Success Looks Like

  • Surgeons and providers trust your preparation, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate their needs.
  • Procedures run efficiently because instruments, supplies, and equipment are always organized and ready.
  • The sterile field is maintained without compromise, supporting outstanding patient outcomes.
  • You are recognized as a dependable team member who promotes safety, collaboration, and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program, required
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST), required
  • At least 1 year of surgical tech experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery setting.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
