Das Departement Gesundheit ist an der OST zuständig in den Fachgebieten Pflege, Pflegewissenschaft, Physiotherapie und Ergotherapie für Lehre, Weiterbildung, Forschung und Entwicklung und Dienstleistung. Im Bereich Ergotherapie und im zukünftigen Kompetenzzentrum HumanHealthTech verbinden wir wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse mit einer konsequenten Praxisorientierung und leisten einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Weiterentwicklung einer zukunftsorientierten ergotherapeutischen Versorgung. Unsere Forschung an der Schnittstelle von Ergotherapie und künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) erfolgt in enger Zusammenarbeit mit interdisziplinären nationalen und internationalen Partnern aus Wissenschaft und Praxis. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf innovativen, insbesondere KI-gestützten digitalen Anwendungen und deren Bedeutung für die ergotherapeutische Praxis. Dabei liegt ein Schwerpunkt auf der Pädiatrie, ohne dass sich unsere Forschung ausschliesslich auf diesen Bereich beschränkt. Die Stelle: Die Stelle bietet die Möglichkeit, sich wissenschaftlich zu qualifizieren und an Forschungs- und Dienstleistungsprojekten an der Schnittstelle von Ergotherapie, Technologie und künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) mitzuwirken. Im Zentrum stehen quantitative und qualitative Forschungsarbeiten, die Mitarbeit an wissenschaftlichen Publikationen und Forschungsanträgen sowie die Mitwirkung in der Lehre. Damit verbindet die Stelle Forschung, wissenschaftliche Weiterentwicklung und den Transfer in die ergotherapeutische Praxis. Zur Verstärkung unseres Teams suchen wir per 01. Februar 2027 oder nach Vereinbarung eine engagierte Persönlichkeit als Doktorand/in in der Ergotherapie (60% - 100%) Sie wirken aktiv in Forschungsprojekten mit. Ihre Tätigkeit umfasst Datenerhebung und -auswertung sowie wissenschaftliches Publizieren. Zudem werden Sie in der Lehre am Bachelorstudiengang Ergotherapie mitarbeiten. Arbeitsorte sind Buchs und St.Gallen. ###

Ihr Wirkungsfeld

  • Rekrutierung von Studienteilnehmenden sowie Datensammlung und Analyse qualitativer Daten, insbesondere semi-strukturierter Interviews sowie Datensammlung und Analyse quantitativer Daten
  • Mitarbeit bei Organisation, Datenmanagement und Qualitätssicherung von Forschungsprojekten
  • Verfassen wissenschaftlicher Publikationen sowie Mitentwicklung von Forschungsanträgen
  • Präsentation von Forschungsergebnissen an nationalen und internationalen Kongressen sowie Mitarbeit in der Lehre im Bachelorstudiengang Ergotherapie

Ihre Expertise

  • Master of Science in Ergotherapie oder gleichwertige Ausbildung
  • Kenntnisse in quantitativen und qualitativen Forschungsmethoden und Erfahrung mit einschlägiger Software (z. B. SAS, MAXQDA, SPSS); praktische Erfahrung als Ergotherapeut/in und mit technologie- bzw. KI-gestützten Anwendungen von Vorteil
  • Ausgeprägtes Interesse an Forschung an der Schnittstelle von Technologie, insbesondere künstlicher Intelligenz (KI), und Ergotherapie sowie hohe wissenschaftliche Neugier
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse; Französisch- oder Italienischkenntnisse von Vorteil
