Role Overview:

Lead and manage the Estimation and Engineering functions to ensure accurate, competitive, and technically compliant proposals while supporting business growth, profitability, and successful project awards and wins. The role is responsible for overseeing tendering activities, engineering deliverables, technical risk management, and continuous process improvement across New Equipment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimation & Tendering

• Lead the preparation and review of quotations, tenders, and cost estimates.
• Ensure competitive pricing, accurate costing, and risk assessment.
• Support Sales with technical and commercial proposals.
• Drive tender quality, consistency, and process improvement.

Engineering Management

• Manage engineering activities from tender stage through project execution.
• Review and approve technical submissions and design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations.
• Coordinate with factories, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop the Estimation and Engineering teams.
• Manage resource planning and team performance.
• Build a high-performing and customer-focused team culture.

Business Support

• Partner with Sales and Operations to secure project wins.
• Support major bids, customer presentations, and negotiations.
• Provide technical and commercial guidance for key opportunities.
• Drive improvements in competitiveness, quality, and profitability.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Master’s Degree is an advantage.
• 10+ years of experience in the elevator, construction, or engineering industry.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within Estimation and Engineering.
• Experience in tendering, technical reviews, and contract evaluation.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and team management.
• Technical knowledge of elevator and vertical transportation systems.
• Commercial and contractual awareness.
• Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Results-oriented with a strong focus on project wins and business growth.
