About the Role

Outsource Ability is recruiting on behalf of a UK mortgage services client for a confident and organised Part-Time Appointment Setter / Lead Qualifier.

You will manage new and existing inbound mortgage enquiries, conduct initial qualification calls and book suitable clients into mortgage advisers' diaries.

This is a non-advised role focused on gathering information and arranging appointments. You will not provide mortgage or product recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact new inbound mortgage leads promptly by telephone.
  • Follow up new, existing and older leads using an agreed process.
  • Conduct scripted qualification calls and gather key information about clients' circumstances and mortgage requirements.
  • Book suitable clients directly into mortgage advisers' diaries.
  • Confirm and follow up appointments to help reduce no-shows.
  • Maintain accurate CRM notes, lead statuses and next actions.
  • Manage a significant lead pipeline independently.
  • Re-engage older leads from the existing database where required.
  • Escalate questions outside the role's non-advised scope.

Experience with every system is not essential, but you must be confident learning new technology.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Excellent telephone manner and strong spoken and written English.
  • Confident, personable and naturally conversational.
  • Appointment-setting, lead-conversion or sales experience.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Persistent and proactive without being overly sales-driven.
  • Highly organised, with excellent CRM and follow-up discipline.
  • Comfortable managing a large lead pipeline independently.
  • Able to follow scripts and work within clear non-advised boundaries.
  • Fast learner who is comfortable using new technology.

Advantageous

  • Experience communicating with UK consumers.
  • Mortgage, financial services, property or regulated-sector experience.
  • Experience using GoHighLevel or a comparable CRM.
  • Familiarity with AI tools in a professional environment.

Remote Work Requirements

  • Be based in South Africa.
  • Have a reliable laptop or PC.
  • Have stable internet and backup power.
  • Have a professional headset with a clear microphone.
  • Have a quiet workspace suitable for telephone calls.
  • Be available for the agreed hours during UK business times.
