AgentSee, our agentic AI platform, works alongside travel agents. It reads traveler requests, handles bookings and changes, and takes on routine servicing tasks, so agents can manage more trips while improving service quality.

As a Team Lead on our Agentic AI platform, you will lead and grow a team of software engineers building production-grade AI agents used by global enterprises. You'll guide your team through real-world problems at the intersection of LLMs, automation, and large-scale travel data, with the freedom to shape the technology, the product, and the culture of the team that builds them.

Your team will work on production AI systems, not demos. Think agent orchestration, retrieval systems, tool calling, workflow automation, large-scale integrations, and real-time decision-making.

What you'll do:

  • Lead, manage, and grow a team of software engineers — run regular 1:1s, set clear goals, give honest feedback, and own performance and career development;
  • Scale your team's impact with AI — embed AI coding agents across the development lifecycle, with the workflows and quality gates that let a small team ship like a much larger one;
  • Build a healthy, high-performing team culture built on trust, ownership, transparency, and continuous learning;
  • Hire and onboard great engineers, and help shape how the team scales as we grow;
  • Own team delivery end to end — plan, prioritize, and ship AI agents that solve real-world business problems, balancing speed, quality, and technical debt;
  • Partner closely with Product, Data, and business stakeholders to align on priorities, manage expectations, and communicate progress and risks;
  • Stay hands-on: design, build, and scale AI-driven systems that power our agent’s capabilities, including conversational reasoning, retrieval systems, tool calling, and automation workflows;
  • Guide the development of backend services and data pipelines that integrate multiple APIs (Amadeus, Sabre, internal systems, and third-party platforms) to support real-time decision-making;
  • Drive architecture decisions for distributed, high-performance AI applications together with your team;
  • Continuously improve model performance, reliability, observability, and evaluation frameworks;
  • Define and improve engineering best practices and team processes — code review, testing, planning, and responsible use of AI coding tools — and contribute to technical direction across the group.

About you:

  • Proven hands-on experience developing or integrating products using LLMs
  • 3+ years of experience as a Team Lead, managing software engineers directly (1:1s, performance, hiring, career growth)
  • A people-first leader — you enjoy developing others, give and receive feedback openly, and take pride in your team's success
  • Experience using modern AI coding tools as part of your day-to-day engineering workflow, and helping your team adopt them while maintaining strong ownership of code quality and technical decisions
  • 6+ years of experience building production software systems
  • Strong experience designing and developing scalable systems
  • Experience with AI agents, agentic workflows, RAG pipelines or orchestration frameworks
  • Solid understanding of Linux runtime environments
  • Experience identifying and solving performance bottlenecks
  • Proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment — prioritizing, unblocking, and keeping the team focused on what matters
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent English, written and spoken
  • High ownership and accountability — you care about outcomes and about the people delivering them
  • Leads by example: curious, proactive, humble, and excited about learning new technologies

Bonus points if you have:

  • Production experience with agentic AI systems
  • Knowledge of RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases
  • Familiarity with AI evaluation and monitoring frameworks
  • Exposure to travel-tech or GDS integrations
  • Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling
  • Experience building or scaling a team in a fast-growing startup
  • Open-source contributions, side projects, or technical writing
  • Startup mindset and comfort operating with ambiguity
