Heb je een master chemie of gelijkaardig en interesse in een functie als Quality Engineer? Functieomschrijving Regio Turnhout zijn we op zoek naar een Quality Engineer. Je zorgt ervoor dat kwaliteitsafwijkingen correct worden opgevolgd, onderzoekt problemen en neemt kwaliteitsbeslissingen met grote impact. Daarnaast ondersteun je operators en collega's bij het correct toepassen van kwaliteitsprocedures. Verantwoordelijkheden

  • Kwaliteitsopvolging van A tot Z: Je volgt alle kwaliteitsaspecten op voor toegewezen key accounts en productlijnen en fungeert als aanspreekpunt voor interne en externe stakeholders.
  • Correcties en verbeteracties: Je initieert en coördineert correctieve en verbeteracties naar aanleiding van klanten‑ en leveranciersklachten en interne non‑conformiteiten.
  • Data, analyses en KPI's: Je analyseert kwaliteitsdata en processen, rapporteert Quality KPI's en vertaalt inzichten naar concrete verbeter initiatieven.
  • Product‑ en procesontwikkeling: Je stelt kwaliteitsplannen op bij nieuwe producten en wijzigingen en ondersteunt productie bij de vrijgave van nieuwe processen en machines.
  • Aanwezigheid op de vloer: Je bent zichtbaar aanwezig in de productieomgeving, creëert draagvlak voor kwaliteitsinitiatieven en verhoogt het kwaliteitsbewustzijn.
  • Kwaliteitssystemen en training: Je treedt op als interne auditor, geeft trainingen rond kwaliteitsprocedures en Q‑tools en draagt actief de kwaliteitsfilosofie uit binnen de organisatie.
  • Betrokkenheid binnen de organisatie: Je bent betrokken bij en neemt autonoom kwaliteitsbeslissingen rond producten en leveringen, en participeert actief in overlegmomenten en ad‑hoc projectteams.

Profiel

  • Een masteropleiding gevolgd hebt in een wetenschappelijke of ingenieursrichting. Relevante werkervaring is een pluspunt.
  • Vlot communiceert in het Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Sterk bent in het werken met Office-toepassingen, in het bijzonder met Excel, en affiniteit hebt met werken in andere software toepassingen (zoals SAP) .
  • Een uitgesproken klantenfocus combineert met een kritische, analytische en ondernemende mindset.
  • Graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt en zelfstandig kan werken, maar tegelijk een echte teamspeler bent.
  • Data kan structureren en analyseren en resultaten duidelijk en consistent weet te rapporteren.
  • Ervaring hebt met het opvolgen en realiseren van verbeterplannen.
  • Beschikt over een sterk probleemoplossend vermogen en daartoe de juiste kwaliteitstools weet in te zetten. Ervaring met kwaliteitstools zoals FMEA, SPC, 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing of Six Sigma is een pluspunt.
  • Flexibel bent en bereid bent om korte verplaatsingen te maken indien nodig.
