Als Automation Engineer ben je een belangrijk technisch aanspreekpunt voor industriële automatisatie. Je werkt nauw samen met productie, onderhoud, engineering en externe partners om de betrouwbaarheid en efficiëntie van het machinepark verder te verbeteren.

Concreet betekent dit:

  • PLC-programmatie en optimalisatie: Je programmeert, analyseert en optimaliseert PLC- en HMI-besturingen, met aandacht voor de performantie en betrouwbaarheid van machines.
  • Complexe storingen oplossen: Je analyseert technische problemen binnen automatisatiesystemen, voert root cause analyses uit en werkt duurzame oplossingen uit om terugkerende storingen te vermijden.
  • Automatisatieprojecten realiseren: Je begeleidt technische aanpassingen, uitbreidingen en automatisatieprojecten van analyse en programmatie tot implementatie, testing en oplevering.
  • Machinepark verbeteren: Je detecteert optimalisatiemogelijkheden en voert aanpassingen door aan frequentiesturingen, veiligheidscomponenten en elektromechanische installaties.
  • Technische documentatie beheren: Je leest, interpreteert en stelt elektrische en pneumatische schema's op en zorgt voor een correcte documentatie van uitgevoerde aanpassingen.
  • Samenwerking en kennisdeling: Je werkt nauw samen met collega's uit productie, onderhoud en engineering en ondersteunt minder ervaren medewerkers bij complexe automatisatievraagstukken.
  • Innovatie ondersteunen: Je denkt actief mee over nieuwe technologieën en technische oplossingen die bijdragen aan een efficiënter, veiliger en toekomstgericht productieproces.
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Automatisatie, Elektromechanica, Elektrotechniek of een vergelijkbare technische richting.
  • Je hebt meerdere jaren relevante ervaring in industriële automatisatie, bij voorkeur binnen een productieomgeving of machinebouw.
  • Je beschikt over een grondige kennis van PLC-programmatie, bij voorkeur met Siemens en/of Beckhoff.
  • Je hebt ervaring met HMI-systemen, frequentiesturingen, industriële besturingen en elektromechanische installaties.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met het analyseren van complexe storingen en het structureel oplossen van automatisatieproblemen.
  • Je kunt elektrische en pneumatische schema's lezen, interpreteren en waar nodig zelf opstellen.
  • Je hebt ervaring met het uitvoeren van technische aanpassingen, optimalisaties of automatisatieprojecten.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, nauwkeurig en oplossingsgericht en neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor de kwaliteit van jouw technische oplossingen.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands. Kennis van Engels en/of Frans is een bijkomende troef.
  • Ervaring met industriële robotica en/of een BA5-attest vormt een pluspunt.
