The posting

Als Technical Manager ben je eindverantwoordelijk voor het technisch beheer, de betrouwbaarheid en de verdere ontwikkeling van het machinepark. Je stuurt een team van ongeveer 10 tot 15 onderhouds- en storingstechniekers aan en neemt daarnaast de verantwoordelijkheid op voor engineering en kwaliteitsbeheer.

Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de COO en werkt nauw samen met de productieafdeling om technische uitdagingen structureel aan te pakken.

Concreet betekent dit:

  • Technische dienst aansturen: Je coacht en begeleidt het technische team, zorgt voor een duidelijke taakverdeling en stimuleert kennisdeling, zelfstandigheid en verantwoordelijkheid.
  • Onderhoudsbeleid professionaliseren: Je ontwikkelt en optimaliseert preventieve en correctieve onderhoudsplannen, brengt structuur in storingsregistraties en zorgt voor een efficiënte opvolging van onderhoudswerkzaamheden.
  • Machinepark optimaliseren: Je bewaakt de beschikbaarheid, betrouwbaarheid, veiligheid en levensduur van machines. Je analyseert terugkerende problemen en bepaalt structurele verbeteracties.
  • Technische projecten coördineren: Je begeleidt CAPEX-investeringen, machineaanpassingen, optimalisatie- en innovatieprojecten. Daarbij bewaak je de planning, het budget, de technische haalbaarheid en de uitvoering.
  • Kwaliteitsbeheer opvolgen: Je draagt de verantwoordelijkheid voor het kwaliteitsdepartement, inclusief audits, ISO-normering, afwijkingsbeheer en de opvolging van correctieve en preventieve acties (CAPA).
  • Processen en structuren verbeteren: Je brengt overzicht in technische prioriteiten, ontwikkelt duidelijke werkmethodes en bouwt aan een meer planmatige en proactieve technische organisatie.
  • Veiligheid en compliance bewaken: Je ziet toe op machineveiligheid, technische voorschriften en de correcte opvolging van risico's en verbetermaatregelen.
  • Afdelingen verbinden: Je werkt nauw samen met productie, engineering, kwaliteit en aankoop om technische knelpunten aan te pakken en de operationele werking te ondersteunen.
  • Je hebt een technische bacheloropleiding, bijvoorbeeld elektromechanica, of bent gelijkwaardig door relevante ervaring. Een ingenieursdiploma is geen vereiste.
  • Je hebt aantoonbare ervaring met maintenance management en het uitwerken of optimaliseren van preventieve en correctieve onderhoudsstructuren.
  • Je hebt ervaring met het aansturen, coachen en ontwikkelen van technische medewerkers.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met CAPEX-projecten, technische verbetertrajecten of innovatieprojecten binnen een productieomgeving.
  • Je hebt affiniteit met kwaliteitsmanagement, audits, ISO-normering en het structureel aanpakken van kwaliteitsafwijkingen.
  • Je beschikt over voldoende technische expertise om complexe problemen te begrijpen, oorzaken te analyseren en de juiste oplossingen of adviezen aan te reiken.
  • Je werkt gestructureerd, stelt duidelijke prioriteiten en weet verschillende technische projecten gelijktijdig op te volgen.
  • Je bent een sterke communicator die medewerkers weet mee te krijgen en vlot samenwerkt met andere afdelingen en het management.
  • Je combineert een strategische kijk met een praktische ingesteldheid en bent zichtbaar aanwezig op de werkvloer.
