Desk Nurse (LVN/LPN) – Part-Time / On-Call

Peninsula Post Acute 💲 Pay Range: $40.00 - $46.00 per hour

Looking for flexible nursing opportunities? Peninsula Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and dependable Desk Nurse (LVN/LPN) to join our team on a part-time/on-call basis. In this role, you'll provide quality nursing care, support residents' health and well-being, and work alongside a dedicated healthcare team in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes to physicians and nursing leadership.
  • Complete accurate charting and clinical documentation.
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Support and supervise CNAs and nursing assistants during assigned shifts.
  • Transcribe physician orders and maintain resident medical records.
  • Respond professionally to resident, family, and staff concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Maintain nursing supplies and medication inventory.

Qualifications

  • Current and active California LVN/LPN license.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • At least 1 year of skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care experience preferred.
  • PointClickCare (PCC) experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
