Requisitos

  • Experiencia mínima de 2 años como Sushero o posición similar.
  • Conocimiento en técnicas de cocina japonesa tradicional y contemporánea.
  • Dominio en elaboración de sushi, sashimi, nigiri, temaki, uramaki y otras especialidades.
  • Conocimiento en cortes de pescado y manejo de productos frescos.
  • Conocimiento de normas de higiene y seguridad alimentaria.

Responsabilidades Principales

  • Preparar y presentar una amplia variedad de piezas de sushi y platillos japoneses.
  • Realizar el correcto manejo y corte de pescados, mariscos, vegetales y otros ingredientes.
  • Garantizar la frescura y calidad de los productos utilizados.
  • Cumplir con los estándares de higiene, manipulación de alimentos y seguridad alimentaria.
  • Mantener limpia, organizada y abastecida la estación de trabajo.
  • Verificar inventarios diarios de insumos y comunicar necesidades de reposición.
  • Minimizar desperdicios mediante el adecuado aprovechamiento de los ingredientes.
  • Asegurar una presentación atractiva y consistente de los platillos.
  • Colaborar con el equipo de cocina para garantizar un servicio eficiente.
  • Participar en la creación y mejora de recetas cuando sea requerido.
  • Cumplir con los estándares de calidad y servicio del hotel o restaurante.
