The posting

The Recruitment and Operations Specialist is responsible for recruiting, enrolling, and onboarding new students while ensuring smooth daily school operations. This role manages applicant communications, schedules tours and orientations, connects students with appropriate staff and services, and handles operational tasks including ordering supplies, coordinating mail and copier maintenance, and submitting facility/maintenance requests to Trident Technical College.

  • Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and a willingness to make a good first impression.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and embraces
  • Demonstrates empathy in difficult situations and uses discretion in sharing
  • Knowledgeable and informed regarding Palmetto Excel, Charleston County Public School district, and other districts of the Tri-County area to provide callers and visitors with correct and appropriate information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work priorities and schedules.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data to make informed decisions.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background
  • Associate’s degree with two (2) years office management experience; Certified Office Manager preferred.
  • Two (2) or more years of recruiting experience are strongly
