Our solutions combine high-quality educational content, technology, teaching, and exceptional schools.

About the Role

The Business Analyst is a key member of the Product & Technology department, responsible for analyzing complex business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and defining practical, scalable solutions that enhance our products, services, and operational processes.

This role requires strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate closely with technical and functional experts. The Business Analyst investigates business challenges, identifies root causes, evaluates solution options, and translates business needs into clear, actionable requirements that guide product development and implementation.

The ideal candidate is naturally inquisitive, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and skilled at connecting business needs with technical capabilities. Experience with educational technology, digital content publishing, and learning management systems is particularly valuable.

What You'll Do

Business Analysis & Critical Thinking

  • Analyze complex business problems, existing workflows, and system functionality to identify root causes, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead discovery discussions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business needs, challenge assumptions, and distinguish underlying problems from proposed solutions.
  • Evaluate business processes, system capabilities, data flows, and operational dependencies to develop a comprehensive understanding of requirements.
  • Apply structured analysis and critical thinking to assess potential solutions, trade-offs, risks, and downstream impacts.
  • Recommend practical, scalable solutions that balance business value, technical feasibility, and operational effectiveness.

Solution Development & Collaboration

  • Partner with technical and functional experts to explore solution alternatives and define approaches that address business challenges.
  • Collaborate with software development, UX, QA, curriculum, and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with business objectives.
  • Translate complex business needs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting specifications.
  • Identify dependencies, edge cases, integration considerations, and potential implementation challenges.
  • Facilitate solution discussions, resolve requirements questions, and support informed decision-making throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate on evaluating and prioritizing product enhancements, process improvements, and defects based on business impact.

Product Delivery & Validation

  • Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements and provide functional guidance throughout implementation.
  • Support the refinement of development work to ensure requirements are sufficiently defined and understood.
  • Develop test scenarios and participate in functional validation and user acceptance testing.
  • Evaluate delivered solutions against documented requirements and intended business outcomes.
  • Identify gaps, recommend adjustments, and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Support implementation, training, and rollout activities to ensure successful adoption.

Educational Technology & Content Publishing

  • Analyze workflows related to digital curriculum, content publishing, course configuration, and distribution across educational platforms.
  • Collaborate with curriculum, academic, and technology experts to understand publishing processes, system dependencies, and content lifecycle requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of course management and content distribution.
  • Evaluate workflows and integrations across Learning Management Systems (LMS), Student Information Systems (SIS), and other instructional technologies.
  • Support solution development involving course access, content availability, platform configuration, and system integrations.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Build collaborative relationships with business leaders, customers, functional experts, and technical teams.
  • Facilitate discussions that bring together different perspectives to analyze problems and develop shared solutions.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in business terms and translate functional needs into actionable guidance for technical teams.
  • Present findings, recommendations, solution trade-offs, and business impacts clearly to stakeholders.
  • Maintain visibility into requirements, decisions, dependencies, and delivery progress.
  • Promote alignment between business objectives, user needs, and technical capabilities.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
