Position Description

PAR Technology has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to join its growing corporate controllership function. The Senior Accountant, Commercial Accounting, will play a crucial role in building a world-class accounting team. Position Location: Jaipur/Gurugram

Reports To: Finance Manager, Commercial Accounting

What We’re Looking For:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA and/or MBA preferred)

- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a SaaS or technology company

- Strong accounting and finance fundamentals with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills

- Passion for leveraging data to drive decision-making and connect operational metrics to financial outcomes

- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, financial modeling, and data analysis

- Experience using AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar platforms to improve productivity and workflows

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple priorities

- Strong knowledge of IFRS, preferred

- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Planful

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

- Play a key role in the day-to-day management of the company's global commercial accounting function

- Support the monthly close process for the company's SaaS product lines, ensuring timely, accurate, and well-controlled financial reporting

- Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and technical accounting analyses

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes, controls, and close activities

- Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency

- Support reporting requirements, including preparation of footnotes and other disclosures

- Contribute to special projects, process enhancements, and scaling initiatives as the organization grows
