About Parabilis Medicines

Parabilis Medicines is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to creating extraordinary medicines for patients with serious diseases by unlocking biologically important targets long considered undruggable. The company has pioneered a new class of alpha-helical peptides – Helicons™ – capable of modulating intracellular proteins that have historically been beyond the reach of conventional medicines. The company’s lead investigational medicine, zolucatetide, is the first and only direct inhibitor of the β-catenin:TCF interaction, a central node in the Wnt/β-catenin pathway that has eluded drug developers for decades. Zolucatetide is being evaluated in the clinic across multiple Wnt/β-catenin-driven diseases, including desmoid tumors, familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) and a range of other solid tumor indications. Beyond zolucatetide, Parabilis is advancing additional Helicon-based programs focused on other challenging targets where we believe our medicines could have life-altering impact. • Prepare and maintain accounting schedules and transaction support related to multiple collaboration arrangements.
  • Contribute to quarterly accrual meetings and journal entry preparation.
  • Manage assigned responsibilities within the month-end and quarter-end closes, coordinating with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely completion of all tasks.
  • Support the company’s annual tax return filing and reporting processes.
  • Execute and maintain internal controls over financial reporting as they relate to relevant functions.
  • Assist with accounting/finance process improvements, including proactively identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate processes.
  • Crosstrain on payroll processing and serve as backup equity administrator.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives as required.
  • Collaborate with all finance team members and colleagues from other departments to support accurate financial reporting and effective accounting operations.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or related area.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in public and/or biopharmaceutical company.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Extremely well-organized and goal-oriented, with the ability to deliver high-quality results on time and under tight deadlines.

  • Exceptional work ethic and unquestionable integrity.
  • Experience with NetSuite/Concur/ADP/FloQast is a plus.
  • Excellent Excel and other Microsoft Office application skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to utilize AI tools for day-to-day work; baseline proficiency is expected, and advanced or innovative use of AI is a strong plus.
  • Able to work on-site and attend in-person meetings.

The company is committed to promoting an inspiring and flourishing working environment for all employees across the business, in all departments, and driving innovation for patient benefit.

  • Growth-Minded. We’re inventing a new class of medicines—one applicable to therapeutic targets that have been dreamt about, but always considered impossible to drug. Our work requires us to be curious, humble and adaptable.
  • In(ter)dependent. We are fiercely independent as a leader in defying the limitations of current therapeutic modalities, and interdependent as a team as we work collaboratively to shift drug discovery paradigms and provide patients with better treatment options.
  • Patient-focused. We are deeply focused on patient outcomes, and all energy in the company is focused on science as it translates to patient impact.
  • All-In. We’re All-In on solving some of the hardest scientific challenges and delivering one of the most effective new classes of drugs in history.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
