About the Role

We are seeking a Manager, Clinical Operations to join our team in Bengaluru in a onsite capacity. As a Manager, Clinical Operations, you will oversee a team and support clinical research activities that advance new treatments for patients. This position plays a key role in study execution, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of high-quality project deliverables on time. You will resource client projects with suitably developed professionals, develop and retain your team, and provide clinical consultation to project teams, working independently under the supervision of a Senior Manager, Associate Director, or Director. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, follow industry-standard processes, and contribute to study operations from planning through closeout.

Responsibilities include overseeing project delivery and team performance, with opportunities to deepen your expertise and influence study outcomes. Your leadership shapes how efficiently and effectively new therapies move from study planning to the patients who need them.

You will join a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment focused on making a meaningful impact through project delivery excellence, talent development, and client partnership. With diverse teams and continuous learning opportunities, the Manager, Clinical Operations can explore career paths and expand skills across clinical research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor performance through close interaction with project and functional leadership, ensuring project documentation and correspondence are accurate and complete, and serve as an ongoing liaison with project teams, sponsors, and management regarding the performance of direct reports.
  • Manage and oversee team activities, including appropriate resourcing of staff, staff assignments, quality control, and the efficiency of project deliverables.
  • Produce accurate resourcing plans with appropriate project team members, and monitor resource needs throughout the project.
  • Develop action plans with management and project leadership to keep projects on time and within budget, and facilitate metrics collection.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop a skilled, experienced, and motivated team through training, mentoring, and allocation of staff according to their ability.
  • Conduct quality checks of deliverables and take appropriate remedial action to ensure departmental and project productivity and quality metrics are met.
  • Provide technical support and clinical consultation to project teams, ensuring staff have the knowledge required to fulfill their duties.
  • Support staff in improving their efficiency and effectiveness at prioritizing work, and participate in formal staff review processes, including performance and salary reviews.
  • Serve as a senior-level contributor on project teams, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of your own deliverables and generating study-specific status reports for study teams, sponsors, and management.
  • Maintain working knowledge of, and ensure compliance with, ICH Guidelines, Good Clinical Practice, regulatory agency requirements, and Parexel and sponsor SOPs.
  • Where appropriate, contribute to project bids, client presentations, and business lead generation.

Candidate Profile

You'll thrive in this role if you bring:

  • Strengths in managing and motivating direct reports, developing talent, and resourcing projects effectively
  • Experience working in clinical research, healthcare, or a regulated environment
  • The ability to collaborate across teams and communicate clearly
  • A patient-focused mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Comfort working with resourcing plans, project metrics, and quality control processes

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
