Join the PMC Team Parking Management Company (PMC) is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Overnight Parking Lot Auditor to support hotel self-parking operations. This position monitors overnight parking activity, completes vehicle and revenue audits, maintains accurate records, assists guests, and helps keep the parking facility safe, clean, and organized. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, using computers and parking systems, and remaining alert throughout an overnight shift. What You’ll Do Parking Audits and Reconciliation
Conduct vehicle counts and audit parking tickets, access records, payments, and operational reports. Compare physical vehicle counts with digital or paper records. Identify discrepancies and report or correct errors according to established procedures. Complete accurate end-of-shift audit and revenue reports.
Vehicle and Parking Activity
Monitor vehicles entering and exiting the parking facility. Maintain accurate records of vehicle and ticket activity. Help direct traffic and support an orderly flow of vehicles. Identify and report unauthorized vehicles, parking violations, equipment problems, or unusual activity.
Safety and Security
Conduct regular inspections of parking areas, entrances, exits, lighting, signs, gates, cameras, and safety equipment. Remain alert and responsive to potential hazards or security concerns. Report accidents, suspicious activity, and safety concerns to management or the appropriate authorities. Follow established emergency and incident-reporting procedures. Never place yourself or others in danger.
Guest Service
Greet guests professionally and assist with parking-related questions. Provide clear directions and information about the parking facility. Address guest concerns calmly and promptly. Communicate effectively with hotel personnel, team members, management, and vendors. Use professional two-way radio procedures when applicable.
Lot Appearance and Equipment
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized parking environment. Inspect cones, signs, barriers, gates, ticketing equipment, and other parking materials. Report debris, damage, lighting problems, or equipment malfunctions.
Additional Responsibilities
Maintain dependable attendance and arrive prepared for scheduled shifts. Follow PMC, hotel, safety, cash-handling, and parking procedures. Attend required meetings and training. Complete other job-related duties as assigned to support business and operational needs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous auditing, parking, hospitality, security, cash-handling, or customer-service experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and basic math skills. Ability to maintain accurate written and electronic records. Basic computer and mobile-application skills. Strong communication and customer-service abilities. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. Ability to remain alert and productive throughout an overnight shift. Availability to work overnight hours, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Driving Requirement A valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle record are required only if driving is an essential function of the assigned position. Any driving-related requirements will be applied in accordance with applicable law. Physical Requirements and Work Environment This position requires the ability to:
Stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently move throughout parking lots, garages, and hotel areas. Lift or move up to 50 pounds when required. Use computers, mobile devices, radios, and parking equipment. Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions. Work around moving vehicles, traffic, noise, and parking equipment.
