The posting

We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with class teachers, the SENDCo, and senior leaders to support pupils with special educational and behavioural needs, enabling them to access learning and reach their full potential. This rewarding role involves planning, preparing, and delivering targeted learning activities both independently and alongside teaching staff.

You will provide one-to-one and small group support within the classroom setting, lead intervention programmes, and contribute to the monitoring and assessment of pupil progress. Additional responsibilities include supervising pupils during breaks and lunchtimes, supporting transition periods, and contributing to whole-school initiatives that promote inclusion and wellbeing.

We are looking for someone who is patient, flexible, and passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing, with the ability to work independently and take responsibility for delegated tasks. In return, Parkside offers a friendly and supportive staff team, opportunities for professional development including HLTA accreditation support if needed, and the chance to make a meaningful difference to our pupils’ lives.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
