Job Summary The Senior Software Engineer brings deep expertise in designing and implementing scalable software platforms across infrastructure, tools, and development methodologies, with a strong emphasis on AI-assisted development and automation. In this role, you’ll help build PatientPoint’s next-generation unified platform using Python 3, Google Ad Manager, Operative AOS, Elasticsearch, and AWS. You thrive in environments that demand high-performance, production-grade code, and you actively leverage AI tooling to accelerate development, improve quality, and automate repetitive work. You take ownership of your work from architecture through delivery and are motivated by building software that makes a meaningful impact. You want to build things that matter.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs deployed in AWS across multiple technical domains
  • Develop scalable, high-performance solutions that follow modern software design principles and meet business requirements
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and drive implementation of clean, reusable solutions across services
  • Ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of core platform services and APIs
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as planning, retrospectives, and story grooming
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, share technical feedback, and contribute to continuous code quality improvements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, DevOps, and Security to support high-quality software delivery
  • Mentor peers and junior engineers through thoughtful collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Leverage AI-based development tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development, generate and maintain tests, automate repetitive engineering tasks, and improve overall code quality and velocity.

What We Need

  • 6+ years of experience in backend software engineering focused on building enterprise-grade applications
  • 4+ years developing scalable, high-performance, high availability microservices
  • 4+ years designing cloud-native architectures and implementing infrastructure as code
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with relational databases and writing optimized SQL queries
  • 2+ years of front-end development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular
  • Advanced proficiency in Python 3, with expert-level knowledge required (a coding assessment will be administered to evaluate this proficiency).
  • Hands-on experience using AI-based development tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot) to build production software and automate engineering workflows.

Desired Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Google Ad Manager or any other ad server experience.
  • Elasticsearch experience or other cloud-native search technologies
  • Hands-on experience with observability tools and performance monitoring platforms, including New Relic and Sentry
  • Background in containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Amazon ECS, and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with cloud security concepts and protocols including OAuth2, JWT, HMAC, data encryption, hashing, and secret management
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Product, DevOps, and Security
  • Understanding of digital advertising ecosystems and platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Kevel, Sizmek, and DV360
  • Awareness of healthcare compliance standards and regulatory frameworks like HIPAA and PHI
  • Experience developing software with a focus on customer feedback and iterative improvement

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Self-motivation, strong ambition, and interest in directly impacting business results.
  • Resourcefulness, multi-tasking skills, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Resiliency and ability to overcome challenges, sound business judgment.
  • Passion for relationship building and building trusted partnerships.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
