Job summary

We are looking for a motivated and resourceful individual to join the dynamic technical service team at our Montreal branch. As Driver and Repair Shop, you will be responsible for tasks such as:

Major Duties

  • Perform inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of loaned dental equipment (sterilizers, scalers, thermo-disinfectors, etc.).
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and identify required replacement parts.
  • Deliver and install sterilization equipment at customer sites.
  • Order necessary parts and follow up on repair files.
  • Maintain the repair workshop clean, organized, and fully operational.
  • Manage the receipt of equipment for repair and prepare units for delivery to customers.
  • Plan, schedule, and optimize delivery routes for loaned equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Document completed work and ensure billing of parts when required.
  • Manage warranty returns and shipments to manufacturers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and solid problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong manual and technical skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
  • Very good command of English, both spoken and written. The employee will work approximately 40% of the time with English-speaking clients and 60% with suppliers outside Quebec. All technical support from our Canadian and U.S. suppliers is provided exclusively in English.
  • Training in electronics, electromechanics, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of SAP systems (service, logistics, inventory) is considered an asset.

Nous sommes à la recherche d’une personne déterminée et débrouillarde afin de compléter l’équipe dynamique du service technique de notre succursale de Montréal. En tant que livreur-réparateur, vous aurez à acquitter des tâches telles que :

Fonctions essentielles

  • Effectuer la vérification, l’entretien préventif et la réparation des équipements dentaires en prêt (stérilisateurs, détartreurs, thermo désinfecteurs, etc.)
  • Diagnostiquer les pannes et identifier les pièces requises pour les réparations.
  • Effectuer la livraison et l’installation d’appareil de stérilisation.
  • Commander les pièces nécessaires et assurer le suivi des dossiers de réparation.
  • Maintenir l’atelier de réparation propre, organisé et fonctionnel.
  • Gérer la réception des équipements pour la réparation et la préparation des appareils destinés aux clients.
  • Planifier, céduler et optimiser les routes de livraison des appareils en prêt afin d’assurer une efficacité opérationnelle.
  • Documenter les travaux effectués et assurer la facturation des pièces, lorsque nécessaire.
  • Gérer les retours de pièces sous garantie et les envois vers les manufacturiers.
  • Exécuter toute autre tâche qui lui est assignée.

Formation et compétences

  • Permis de conduire valide et dossier de conduite en règle.
  • Excellent sens de l’organisation, souci du détail et bonne aptitude pour la résolution de problèmes.
  • Travailleur motivé ayant un bon esprit d’équipe et une habileté manuelle.
  • Aptitude développée pour le service à la clientèle.
  • Excellente maîtrise du français, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
  • Très bonne connaissance de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit. L’employé travaillera à 40% avec des clients anglophones et à 60% avec des fournisseurs à l’extérieur du Québec. Tout support technique par nos fournisseurs canadiens et américains est offert exclusivement en anglais.
  • Formation en électronique, électromécanique ou domaine connexe, un atout.
