📊 What You'll Be Doing
- 🔎 Drive operational excellence across billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and service performance.
- 📈 Define, manage, and report operational objectives, service metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- 🤝 Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Vendor Operations, Sales, Support, and Data teams to improve billing outcomes.
- ⚙️ Champion automation, observability, and proactive issue detection across billing services.
- 🧠 Translate operational insights into data-driven enhancement opportunities and product recommendations.
- 📋 Maintain a prioritised backlog of improvements, defects, and optimisation initiatives.
- 🚨 Lead operational escalation and forensic analysis when billing issues arise, ensuring rapid resolution and business continuity.
- 💡 Facilitate cross-functional workshops, retrospectives, and solution discovery sessions focused on operational improvement.
- 📢 Communicate performance trends, risks, opportunities, and roadmap progress to stakeholders and leadership.

We're looking for someone who brings:
- Proven expertise working with billing, invoicing, financial systems, or revenue operations environments.
- Demonstrated understanding of SaaS billing models, subscription commerce, payments, taxation, and reconciliation processes.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to investigate complex operational issues and identify root causes.
- Experience working with platforms such as payment processors, tax engines, and accounting solutions.
- Strong Experience in SQL
- Working knowledge of SQL and data-driven decision making.
- Strong experience collaborating within Agile product and engineering environments.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and align multiple teams around shared objectives.
- Excellent project management, communication, and organisational skills.
- A naturally curious mindset and passion for continuous improvement.
- Strong customer and partner empathy with a desire to solve meaningful business problems.
