Join PayU and help strengthen risk management in a dynamic fintech environment. In this role, you’ll have a real impact on operational resilience, ICT risk, business continuity, and the continuous improvement of our risk processes.
Responsibilities & key activities
- Lead and perform risk identification, assessment and monitoring activities,
- Maintain and develop risk maps and other elements of the risk management framework,
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of risk management policies and methodologies,
- Analyze operational risk events, including ICT incidents, identify root causes and recommend appropriate remediation and mitigation actions,
- Conduct vertical testing as part of risk monitoring activities,
- Manage business continuity processes, including periodic business continuity testing, and support operational resilience activities,
- Report in particular on ICT risks to the regulator,
- Work closely with other teams in the first and second lines of defense,
- Support implementation and ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements related to risk management, including DORA, KNF and EBA requirements,
- Oversee and support the administration of the incident management system.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in risk management,
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position within a financial institution,
- Experience in operational risk, ICT risk and business continuity,
- Professional fluency in both Polish and English,
- A college degree in a relevant field.
Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of relevant KNF and EBA recommendations and DORA requirements,
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and processes,
- Very good knowledge of MS Office,
- Strong problem-solving skills and clear, logical thinking,
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills,
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing business needs and different situations.
