Apply today!   The Role: The Bilingual Project Manager is responsible for leading and executing software conversion projects for PBS Systems’ automotive dealership clients. This role ensures successful project delivery by coordinating customer training, overseeing accurate data conversion, and managing seamless integration with third-party systems. Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, the Project Manager drives project planning, implementation, and communication across internal and external stakeholders. With a focus on customer satisfaction, data integrity, and system compatibility, this role requires up to 50% travel to client sites to support successful adoption of PBS Systems software solutions.   This is a remote work opportunity based out of the Montreal and surrounding area. 50% of your time would be spent working from home and 50% of your time would be spent traveling to customer sites throughout North America.   Job Responsibilities:

Lead and manage software conversion projects, including planning, organizing, and executing all implementation activities Develop detailed implementation plans and timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverable are met Coordinate and manage project resources, including personnel and equipment, to support a successful execution Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to define project goals, scope, timeline, and resource needs

Oversee customer training programs on PBS software, ensuring materials are current, effective, and aligned with project objectives Provide ongoing support and assistance to address any training-related issues

Monitor data conversion plans to transfer data from the customer’s existing software to PBS’s software Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security throughout the data conversion process Troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues

Establish and maintain integrations with third-party systems (ie. CRM platforms, DMS providers, and other software vendors)

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration and overall functionality Maintain regular communication with dealership clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and issues Prepare and present weekly project progress reports, metrics, and other documentation Identify and mitigate risks/issues that could arise during implementation Identify and solve problems that arise during implementation Document the implementation processes and procedures to facilitate future maintenance and support

Obtain 1 PBS Certification within the first year of employment

MUST HAVE Skills:

Fluent in French and English (speaking, reading, writing) High school diploma 1-3 years of experience working in a car dealership or the automotive industry is an asset Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management processes, methodologies, and workflows Strong computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools is essential! Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to 2 weeks per month; valid passport, U.S. visa (if applicable), and full driver’s license are required

Ce rôle vise à assurer la réussite de chaque implantation en coordonnant la formation des utilisateur·trice·s, en supervisant l’exactitude de la conversion des données, et en gérant l’intégration fluide avec les systèmes tiers utilisés par les concessions.    En tant que point de contact principal pour les clients, le (ou la) gestionnaire de projet s’occupe de la planification, du déploiement et de la communication avec les parties prenantes, autant internes qu’externes. Ce rôle est axé sur la satisfaction des clients, l’intégrité des données et la compatibilité des systèmes.     Il s'agit d'une opportunité de travail à distance, basée à Montréal et dans la région environnante. 50 % de votre temps serait consacré au télétravail et l’autre 50 % en déplacement en Amérique du Nord chez les concessionnaires afin d’appuyer l’adoption réussie du DMS de PBS Systems.    Responsabilités :

Diriger et gérer les projets de conversion logicielle, incluant la planification, l’organisation et l’exécution de toutes les activités d’implantation.  Élaborer des plans d’implantation détaillés ainsi que des échéanciers pour franchir les étapes clés et compléter les projets avec succès.  Coordonner et gérer les ressources de chaque projet, incluant le personnel et l’équipement, pour assurer une exécution réussie.  Collaborer avec les clients et les parties prenantes pour définir les objectifs de chaque projet, sa portée, l’échéancier et les besoins en ressources.  Superviser les programmes de formation de PBS offerts aux clients, en veillant à ce que la matière soit à jour, efficace et alignée sur les objectifs de chaque projet.  Offrir un soutien continu pour répondre à tout défi lié à la formation.  Suivre et superviser les plans de conversion de données pour transférer l’information du système actuel du client vers le DMS de PBS Systems.  Assurer l’intégrité, l’exactitude et la sécurité des données tout au long du processus de conversion.  Dépanner et résoudre toute situation liée aux données.  Mettre en place et maintenir les intégrations avec les systèmes tiers (p. ex. : plateformes CRM, autres fournisseurs DMS et logiciels connexes).  Coordonner avec les parties prenantes internes et externes afin d’assurer une intégration fluide des systèmes et un fonctionnement optimal.  Assurer une communication régulière avec les concessionnaires, les équipes internes et les autres parties prenantes, en fournissant des mises à jour sur l’avancement du projet, les risques et les enjeux.  Préparer et présenter des rapports hebdomadaires sur l’état d’avancement du projet, les indicateurs de performance et autres documents requis.  Identifier et atténuer les risques ou enjeux pouvant survenir durant l’implantation.  Identifier et résoudre toute situation se produisant durant l’implantation.  Documenter les processus et procédures d’implantation afin de faciliter le soutien et les suivis futurs.  Obtenir au moins une certification produit de PBS Systems durant la première année d’emploi.  

   COMPÉTENCES INDISPENSABLES:

Parler couramment le français et l'anglais (parler, lire et écrire) 1 à 3 années d'expérience en concession automobile Solide compréhension du cycle de vie du développement logiciel (CVDL) ainsi que des processus, des méthodologies et des flux de travail en gestion de projet.  De solides compétences informatiques sont requises, y compris la maîtrise des logiciels Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Apprendre rapidement et s'adapter aux nouveaux outils logiciels est essentiel! Capacité de voyager au Canada et aux États-Unis jusqu'à deux semaines par mois, avec un passeport valide (ou la capacité de l’obtenir), Visa américain (le cas échéant) ainsi qu’un permis de conduire valide et sans restriction sont requis

  Compétences supplémentaires:

Excellentes habiletés en communication et en relations interpersonnelles, avec la capacité de transmettre clairement les attentes et l’information aux parties prenantes internes et externes.  Capacité démontrée à diriger des équipes multidisciplinaires en fournissant une orientation claire, de la motivation et du soutien.  Excellentes aptitudes en organisation et en gestion du temps, avec la capacité de prioriser et de gérer plusieurs tâches, échéanciers et ressources simultanément.  Grande capacité d’adaptation permettant d’ajuster les plans et les stratégies au besoin afin de maintenir tout projet sur la bonne voie.  Aptitude à travailler en collaboration avec les membres de l’équipe, les clients et les fournisseurs externes pour atteindre les objectifs du projet.  Une certification PMP (Project Management Professional) du PMI constitue un atout important.
