Plan daily and weekly fabrication activities based on project schedules, required-on-site dates, manpower, and material availability. Conduct production and safety huddles and communicate workload, constraints, priorities, and performance expectations. Ensure fabrication is performed in accordance with approved shop drawings, fabrication tickets, cut lists, project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and approved dimensions. Establish quality-control checkpoints throughout fabrication; verify dimensions, machining, assembly, labeling, and completed work before shipment. Drive reduction of fabrication errors, material waste, rework, damage, and field modifications through disciplined processes and corrective action.

  PRODUCTION, MATERIAL & LOGISTICS

Maintain clear visibility into shop workload, fabrication status, upcoming work, and production capacity. Coordinate receiving, inspection, staging, storage, fabrication, packaging, loading, and shipment of project materials. Ensure aluminum, glass, doors, hardware, gaskets, sealants, and accessories are protected, organized, and staged by project and installation sequence. Promptly identify and communicate damaged, incorrect, or missing materials and help drive resolution. Coordinate completed material releases to support field installation schedules and minimize unnecessary handling.

Oversee proper use and readiness of saws, CNC equipment, routers, drill presses, punches, crimping equipment, glass-handling equipment, compressors, and related tools. Support preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, housekeeping, storage standards, and an organized professional facility.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Develop repeatable fabrication standards and best practices that improve safety, quality, productivity, and consistency. Work with Operations leadership to establish measurable shop goals and track performance against those expectations.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
