12.5 hours per week over 5 mornings per week

Grade D3-4 £25614 FTE, £7,259.86 actual per annum

Our school is a friendly, positive village school with high standards expected of the children within a caring, Christian ethos. We value partnerships with parents, carers and the community to create a stimulating, learning environment for the children. We plan an active curriculum that aims to be vibrant, challenging and creative with clear skills progression for learning. The school is at the heart of the village of Glinton, just north of Peterborough. Our core Christian values are at the core of everything we do. They have been written in consultation with our local incumbent, staff, pupils and parents. They are embedded in our curriculum and underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

We have a wonderful opportunity to recruit for a brand new Teaching Assistant to join our community! This role would entail supervising and supporting pupils in the learning environment, whilst assisting the teacher with the implementation of pupil education and Quality First Teaching. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping pupils engage with learning, develop confidence and make progress, while contributing to a positive, nurturing and purposeful learning environment.

  • Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare- both at home and in school.

Peakirk is a proud member of PDET, alongside 36 other schools in the Rutland, Peterborough and Northamptonshire area. PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing the finances and other central services for the Academies in the Trust. These services include HR support; facilities and premises; procurement and school effectiveness.
