  • Promote a strong safety culture focused on zero harm, electrical safety, safe work practices, and vehicle incident prevention.
  • Coach operational leaders, managers, supervisors, and field technicians on HSE expectations, electrical safety standards, and driver safety practices.
  • Conduct field safety audits, inspections, and observations to evaluate compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Identify gaps in electrical safety, driver safety, and field HSE practices and develop corrective action plans to address identified risks.
  • Lead and support investigations involving injuries, electrical incidents, vehicle incidents, near misses, and other safety events.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and partner with operational teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Track and report injuries, illnesses, incidents, corrective actions, and HSE performance metrics, ensuring accurate classification, documentation, and timely resolution.
  • Manage and support the driver safety program, including analysis of vehicle-related incidents, identification of trends, and implementation of initiatives designed to reduce preventable incidents.
  • Develop and deliver HSE training focused on electrical hazards, safe driving, field safety, and other operational risks relevant to Solar, ESS, UPS, Battery, Wind, and EV operations.
  • Develop and update HSE policies, procedures, training materials, and safety communications to support regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and other HSE communications for operational and field teams.
  • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with applicable customer HSE requirements and safety expectations.
  • Monitor HSE performance trends and provide recommendations to leadership regarding areas of risk and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support implementation and continuous improvement of HSE management systems and reporting processes.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local HSE requirements, including OSHA and EPA standards.
  • Travel to project sites and operational locations throughout the United States to provide hands-on HSE support, training, audits, incident response, and coaching.

Core Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical safety practices and hazards associated with electrical and energy-related field operations.
  • Experience supporting or managing driver and vehicle safety programs, including incident prevention and corrective actions.
  • Experience conducting incident investigations, root-cause analysis, field audits, safety inspections, and corrective action tracking.
  • Working knowledge of applicable OSHA, EPA, federal, and state HSE regulations; familiarity with Cal/OSHA requirements is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and support HSE programs, procedures, policies, and safety initiatives.
  • Experience developing and delivering safety training to field employees, technicians, supervisors, and operational leaders.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
