Onze klant in de regio Sint-Niklaas is een gevestigde organisatie die volop inzet op verdere groei en professionalisering. Om de financiële sturing naar een hoger niveau te tillen, zijn ze op zoek naar een Controlling Manager.

In deze functie combineer je de aansturing van een controllingteam met financiële analyses en business partnering. Je zorgt ervoor dat cijfers worden vertaald naar bruikbare inzichten en ondersteunt het management bij belangrijke beslissingen. Daarnaast speel je een actieve rol in het verbeteren van rapportering en datakwaliteit.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je coacht en ontwikkelt je team en stimuleert een vlotte samenwerking met andere afdelingen.
  • Je volgt de financiële prestaties op en analyseert budgetten, forecasts, kosten en afwijkingen.
  • Je vertaalt cijfers naar heldere rapporteringen en concrete aanbevelingen voor het management.
  • Je fungeert als financiële sparringpartner voor verschillende afdelingen en helpt hen onderbouwde beslissingen te nemen.
  • Je bewaakt de kwaliteit van financiële data en optimaliseert bestaande rapporteringsprocessen.
  • Je werkt samen met de BI-afdeling aan dashboards en rapporteringstools die inspelen op de noden van de business.
  • Je neemt initiatief bij verbeterprojecten en helpt de financiële werking verder te professionaliseren.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je beschikt idealiter over een economische/financiële master.
  • Je hebt idealiter ervaring met het aansturen, coachen en ontwikkelen van medewerkers.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van budgettering, forecasting en kostenanalyses.
  • Je bent sterk in Excel en hebt ervaring met Power Query. Kennis van Power BI is een pluspunt.
  • Je weet complexe cijfers helder uit te leggen en communiceert vlot met verschillende stakeholders.
  • Je neemt initiatief, stelt prioriteiten en weet je team mee te nemen in veranderingen.
